SHIPPING

Shipping cost is based on the total value of your order.  Hawaii and Alaska orders may require additional shipping fees.

Shipping costs, fees, and insurance are the responsibility of the buyer/retailer.

If only the 30% deposit is paid at time of checkout, you will be charged the remaining shipping balance along with the remaining unpaid balance for your order.

All orders are shipped via FedEx 2 Day, unless a shipping label is provided by the buyer/retailer.

All orders over $1,000 will require an adult signature upon delivery.

All packages require Route insurance, which is based on the total value of your order. Please ensure that the Route checkbox is selected before proceeding to checkout.

Route is the leader in package protection and tracking solution. By selecting Route at checkout, your order will be protected from damage, loss, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is damaged upon arrival, you can easily file a claim with route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed.

BYCHARI is not responsible for packages delayed, lost in transit, stolen or damaged. Please provide a safe and secure shipping address when checking out. 

* Wrong address disclaimer: It is the responsibility of the customer to provide a correct shipping address. BYCHARI ships your package according to the address that is provided. We are not responsible if your package is lost in transit or if your package is shipped back to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address. If the address provided to BYCHARI is incorrect, we cannot ship a new package until the original package has been located. If your shipping address is incorrect please email us at wholesale@bychari.com or call at 310.874.8725 as soon as possible so we can update the address before your package ships out. We will do our very best to make the change, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.*

PACKAGING

All gold-filled, demi-fine and silver pieces, as well as all earrings, come with a BYCHARI logo bag. Each 14K gold piece comes with a BYCHARI logo box (necklace, bracelet or ring).

AVAILABILITY

If your order includes any in-stock items, we offer the option to ship those items immediately. Additional fees will apply.

Orders may take 4-6 weeks to be produced, as production time for each item varies. You can find an item’s production time in the product description.

For orders placed during high season (Sept - Dec), please allow up to 6-8 weeks to be produced.

ORDER CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT

A 30% deposit is required at checkout for your order to be accepted. Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email.

If only the 30% deposit is paid at time of checkout, you will be charged the remaining unpaid balance once your order is ready for shipment. This includes the remaining shipping balance as well.

The order balance must be paid before your order can be shipped. Payment must be deposited and cleared prior to shipment.

REPAIRS

If an item is ordered but cannot be sourced, a refund for that item can be issued.

Exchanges of wholesale orders are only accepted in the event of damaged or incorrect shipments. In this case, the buyer must notify wholesale@bychari.com within 72 hours of receiving the product.

We will repair, free of charge, an item that has been damaged within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date. 

If the damage is due to a buyer’s negligence, the buyer is responsible for the costs of repair.

In the unfortunate circumstance that a customer reaches out to you for a repair, please have them contact us directly at repairs@bychari.com with the information below:

  • Store / Retailer where the BYCHARI item was purchased
  • A photo of their broken item with a description of repair needed 
  • Proof of purchase with date

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

Resale of BYCHARI products on 3rd party websites (i.e. Facebook/Meta, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or similar online channels) is NOT permitted.

Accounts are subject to permanent closure for failure to follow the above terms.

Price of products, shipping, etc. are subject to change throughout the year.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY

As our pieces are delicate, proper care is needed to extend the life and condition of your jewelry. 

The most general cleaning method for all pieces is to use a non-abrasive polishing or microfiber cloth to remove any oxidation or tarnish marks, or just to add some extra shine. Gently rub the surface to polish with medium pressure until the shine has been restored.

DO:

  • Because soaps, perfumes, natural oils and perspiration can take a toll on your jewelry, a quick daily cleaning is highly suggested. 
  • Wipe your jewelry carefully with a non-abrasive polishing or lens cloth to keep it clean and free of elements that oxidize.
  • Store jewelry in a dry area. For example, avoid storing it in your bathroom, as moisture can cause tarnishing.
  • Lay your jewelry flat before bedtime (again, in a dry area). 
  • Clean regularly to reduce tarnishing. Sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time, which may lead to slight discoloration of the metal.

DON’T:

  • Wear jewelry when using chemicals such as hair spray, perfume, shampoos, soaps, lotions, cosmetics, household cleaning products, etc. 
  • Wear jewelry when engaging in any physical or strenuous activities. 
  • Expose your jewelry to water for a prolonged period, like wearing it in a pool, a spa, the ocean, the shower, etc. 

* Although rare, sometimes individual body chemistries can react with the metal and cause a reaction. Pregnancy, thyroid disorders, hormone levels, medications and more can affect the PH levels within the body alkalinity versus acidity, and may cause a reaction with your piece.

DO: 

  • Pretty much anything. Our fine jewelry is meant to be lived in and loved. It can be worn in the shower, in the pool, while working out, etc. 
  • When you want to give your 14K gold some extra shine, clean your jewelry using mild dish soap and water. Pat dry only, do not rub. Or, a cleaning cloth will polish it too. 

DON’T: 

  • As gold is a naturally soft material, chains can stretch over time or when pulled. We suggest removing your jewelry when there is a risk of it being pulled.

  1. Fill a small container halfway with hydrogen peroxide and place the earrings in the solution.
  2. Let sit for 20 minutes, or overnight if they’re heavily soiled. 
  3. Remove earrings from the solution and use a small jewelry brush to remove any leftover grime.
  4. Rinse earrings carefully under warm water.
  5. Place them on a clean cloth to dry.
  1. Make a solution with warm water (almost hot) and dishwashing soap.
  2. Soak your ring for 20 to 40 minutes.
  3. Gently brush the stone with an extra soft toothbrush.
  4. Rinse under warm running water. 
  5. To dry, use a soft cloth made of cotton or let it air dry. Avoid drying your ring off with paper towels, since they can scratch the metal.
